Atlantic Salmon Need Your Help

Quebec provides 7 tags for a salmon fishing licence
Salmon worldwide are in serious decline .Therefore there should be an immediate moratorium on killing Salmon for this summer
The majority
 both the board of directors and the majority of the general membership are for Catch and release . Herein lies the problem   .  Amongst  the board members that report to Minister Lessard ,
in my opinion  are not conveying that wish to the minister ( IF Quebec goes status quo this will be VERY evident ) . The season starts on May 15th on some rivers and on June 01 for the majority . A mere stroke of Lessard's pen and  remise a l'eau could be instituted immediately before it is too late  .
Recently New Brunswick ,Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island  went   and I believe that Quebec should show responsibility to the world that we are doing the same  This would help immensely in North America's argument to Greenland to either halt their fishery or reduce the tonnage by a large amount  (currently reported @ 55 tonnes , but could be a lot more )

Taking a hiatus from tying, can really make you realize how much you can miss it & how it can be a really important part of your life. When one comes to such a realization, it is only natural to ask yourself why "it" is so important to someone. Scientific Anglers TC Skagit Lines Review

Skagit lines have come a long way in design and efficiency since they were first commercially available. The older, shorter and fatter "beer can" floating level lines made turning over heavy sink tips and large flies easy and they’ve caught a lot of fish since, but they lacked the smoothness and aesthetic of a well cast, tapered spey line. Scientific Anglers has redesigned and improved their Skagit head series from the level lines of past to new, fully tapered heads.
